  Basement finishing is something that I really enjoy and am quite passionate about.  Several things that fuels that passion is lighting, such as sconce lighting, rope lights, theater lighting, under cabinet  and in cabinet lighting and recessed can lighting.  All of these can add to the mood and feel of a real basement and home theater in your house. Another one of those areas is creating niches, alcoves, nooks, built-ins, exciting soffit’s,  using  trims and moldings and then lighting each of these areas to give it that WOW FACTOR.
